First day without Gan Ma

Hmmm...today is the first day w/o Gan Ma in office. Yong was in office but flew off to KL on a 8pm flight. Somehow the atmosphere is funny funny der...Suddenly everyone is so stranger to me. Haha...maybe is coz gan ma gone ler, no one to share my secrets bah, so I have been keeping to myself the whole day. Also dun feel like toking to other ppl also. Looking for someone to go tea-break with today but all seems so busy...Think I am the only one who is free...LOL...Think if Gan Ma is still wif us, we oreadi enjoying our tea-break liao...no need to think of looking for company...Aihz...still missing her leh...lunch w/o her is so not fun...w/o her, no tea-break company, office w/o her is a bit 死氣沉沉.

After 7 or 8 months with our company, Gan Ma is leaving our company liaoz...Today is her last day in the company. Of coz, personally, I am very very sad coz she is really 1 person whom we can share my 喜怒哀樂 with. Can say we have build up a very strong bond. To her, I have my full trust in her...so most of my secrets, I will share wif her. She will always give me advice on certain matters and I really appreciate it...Life without her will surely not be the same anymore. Below are photos taken during her farewell...

Today me and Yong left office early to go house hunting...Fetch go AMK then to Toa Payoh but all dun turn up to be what he has in mind...AMK one, owner suddenly change mind...dunwan rent whole flat out, so out for him...Toa Payoh one even cannot make it...those "old-folks" house...too small ler...so out also...Really hope they can find a place soon coz I heard they need to move out by this mth end...Jia you Emily and Yong...

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix

Just finished watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix the movie at GVmax in VivoCity with Yong. Hmmm...2nd time this yr watching movie...must say it was not really up to our expectation again...Wondering I should watch the 3rd movie anot...Next movie maybe aim for Jay Chou's movie bah. Heard he not only act but also direct the movie...So who shall accompany me??? This time I watched with Yong. We purchased 1 combo (1 popcorn, 1 drink n 1 Lay's Potato chips) and shared among ourselves. Haha...ya...I know it sounded a little bit gay, but that is how close we are bah. Last time, we bought sweet popcorn and cannot finish it, so this time we go for salty popcorn and little sweet popcorn. And we finished it halfway thru the movie...Think we r quite hungry bah...

After movie, Yong went to buy 2 shirts for his bro coz his birthday is coming. Then after that, we go buy farewell gift for our Gan Ma...Bought 1 BIG pooh bear and 1 piglet bolster for her. Hope she like it...Today she also give us a little souvenir coz she leaving soon...Really quite sad that she is going to leave us...but anyways, we the godsons will wish her all the best and we know godpa will give her his best.

Today marks the end of another colleague and good friend of mine in my current company. Her name is Kim, affectionately called as Kimchi by us. Like others who have left us, she has moved on to another job. I hope that it will be a greener pasture over there for her. It seems like it is juz yesterday that she joined the company. She is hired by my ex-boss, handling one of the projects in our department. She is an avid lover of tea...Before we moved to the new department office, we used to exchange tea packets and drink tea together. At those days, me and Yong were very mischeivous with us teasing her, saying she is "mountain turtle". As she used to tie up her hair into a ponytail, it tempted me to pull it every morning. Coz of these, she always used her pillow to hit us. Of coz, nt only we "bully" her, she also got go "bully" others too...That time we had a senior consultant whom always kena "gu ci" by her. Come to think of it, those are such wonderful days...But after I am kena relocated to my client's place early last year, seems like I lost touch wif her a lot. Actually my relocation has made me lost touch with a lot of people. People like Kim, Banana, her and the others, I suddenly found that we all lost the close bonding between us. Anyways, I will always treasure Kim as my good friend and I will miss her a lot. People may have misunderstood her, but I truly believe her. Today like yesterday, reached office at 9am. Wah...dunnoe since when I got so early reach office liao...Maybe my first day reporting to work in this company for my temp job bah...

Anyways, for 2nd consecutive day, I am earlier than Yong...Muahahaha...Yong came in and then place 1 sandwich in front of me...Then i blur blur look at him...He said, Emily make for u one lar...Then suddenly I remember last week asking her why Yong got egg tart for breakfast, I dun haf...Hee~ of coz i am kidding one mah...cannot expect her to make me breakfast coz she is only my good friend only bah...Felt so paiseh and at the same time, touched when eating it...Thank you, Emily...So what is tml's menu for breakfast? Oooops...

Today got new colleague reporting...a young prototypist...Hmmm...far far really look like Gan Ma...Then when she is introduced to us, her voice sounds like Auntie Fiona...oh no...the 2 prototypist features can be seen in this young girl...Yong jokingly said, If she ask me to help her, no need think...juz say yes...diaoz...

Her birthday

Today is her birthday...She saw the present and thank me...trying to initate a conversation...but always kena a 1-liner back...sibei sianz...

Today is our monthy department meeting where all the team leads gather and share their Production Issues statistics and forecast for next month...

Meeting ended at 1130 in which followed by a demonstration of a new system to track our working hours per day...Very lame and 無聊 thing to do...No-brainer...everyday login and clock 8 hrs daily...kaoz...what can be more lame than that? Well...got no choice lo...mgt gif order one...

Lunch wif 小金...

Abandoned Yong and the rest of the lunch gang today to have a private lunch with Kim aka 小金...Seems like it has been a long time since I had lunch with her ler...Today finally got the chance liaoz...coz she is gonna leave our company soon...Of coz as a good friend, I am very happy for her but cannot help feeling sad as we have built up such a strong bond with each other. Whenever I see her unhappy, I will go up and lend my listening ear to her, to let her pour all her troubles on me. Hmmm...can still remember the early days that we will have our mini pillow fight each morning...and her tickling Meng Chain...We all had such a good time back then...Can say that she is one of those that will look after me, other than Yong, Pei Ling and Gan Ma...Really appreciate their nice touches...

Well, there is a saying in chinese that depicts that there is no never-ending feast in the world (direct translation) -->天下無不散之宴席...I sincerely wish her that she will be happy in her new job...and if u find it unsuitable, u know who to find *wink*...

At last...Yong is back for this week after all his flying to and fro each week. At least he can take a break for this week and maybe next? Well, he is back coz we all tot that people from SCB is coming to our office this weeks for some discussion and Yong promised the people from SCB that he will be in office for this week.

Today is also my gan jie jie Tricia's birthday...sent her an sms last nite at 12am sharp...she replied today saying that I very 有心...Actually, I am even more touched to know that she really appreciates things that I do even though I din really prepare a gift for her, unlike other 'ppl'. Hope to arrange a time to ask her come out and meet bah...Been really a long time since I met her ler...Jie, 25 liao le...2 to 3 mths time, I will be turning 25 too...Hope that you now have a caring boy boy to look after you.
