My past few days...

First of all, I must apologize to my 'readers' who has been visiting my blog for the past few days but have nothing to read...Kena complain from one of my readers that I long time no update blog liaoz, so here I am today, updating my blog :P

This week, me still in the mood of missing Grace.....Still trying to get used to life without her lunch calls, her smiles...aiyah...basically her presence in the office...Now that I have taken over her duties of making lunch calls, dunnoe why also, the lunch grp become smaller and smaller...hiks hiks...

Basically, past few days have been quite hectic for me, fixing bugs and doing build, so din really have the energy to update my blog. Today got my laptop for work purposes...1 GB of RAM!!! hehehe...hope it does nt crash easily...This week oreadi heard 3 PCs crashes...1 belonging to Tombyong, 1 belonging to my team lead and 1 belonging to another fellow colleague...luckily Tombyong and my another fellow colleague's one is for home use one. But my poor team lead one is company's one, so as a result have to take leave to send laptop for repair.

Specially dedicated to Grace

Today's post is specially dedicated to Grace, one of the first few colleagues whom has a huge impact on me ever since I started working.

I am writing this with a very heavy feeling and tears juz roll down my cheeks uncontrollably.
Today, March 24th, is Grace's last day in my company. After today, she will be moving on to another new work environment. Why I say she has a huge impact on me? Because without her, I think I will not be able to integrate into the lunch gang and befriend with a lot of wonderful people. I can still remember vividly during my first few days in the company, she took the effort to ask me join the lunch gang where I started to get to know the rest of the lunch gang.She is just like a sister to me whom is always there when I needed advice or a listening ear. She is a very easy-going person and showed a lot of care and concern to fellow colleagues although some of us are in different projects from hers.

I like to take this opportunity to thank her husband, Jeremy, whom has the similar impact on me. Both of them showed me the good of working life where all of us is like one big family and care for each other. I am very fortunate to have met them and I hope our friendship will continue on and on although now we are all in different companies.

Grace, all the best to you in your new company and lets keep in touch often! Hope to see you soon after today!
Don't worry, I will try my best to keep the lunch gang together so as not let your efforts go to waste.

After thoughts of watching "Be With Me"

On Wednesday, I was having lunch with my boss when we started talking about movies. He recommended me this movie "Be With Me", produced in Singapore, directed by Eric Khoo. It is a combination of 3 different stories depicting about love and hope. On thursday, got the DVD from him and finally get the chance to watch it today.

After watching, I felt really inspired by it. This movie is quite different from those normal movies as there is very little narration. Maybe it is the reason why I am able to concentrate on the plot and appreciate it better. I must say all the stories are very touching especially the main story. Will strongly recommend my friends and family to watch it.

At this moment, I like to thank all my friends who have been there for me, be it during my days in kindergarten, primary school, secondary school, junior college, university and now work. You all have been a pillar of strength to me, supporting whenever I am lonely and bored. You all give me colours to my life. Without you all, I think I will just shut myself out from the world.

I would like to say a special thanks to a JC gal friend whom showered me with care and concern. We chat regularly and she encouraged me whenever examination was round the corner. The friendship meant a big deal to me and I really appreciate it. Thank you, Ah-Jie...

Have a break and your thoughts will be clearer...

Finally after 3 days of no-blogging, I am back with a bang. :P

Today, I am able to understand the true meaning of these words of wisdom...Take a break and you will be able to think more clearly...Finally, after 1 yr of working, these words started to make sense to me.

Have been tracing logs for the whole afternoon, trying to find out why exception occurs yet system did not do anything abt it although it did try to catch it...Trace until eyes also start seeing things...so decided to go for a break and went downstairs to have a drink. After the drink, went back to work to try and figure out why the problem is happening...AND WALA...I spotted the source of problem...Turns out to be a very simple error that is so easily overlooked.

If I have not taken the break, I might be still looking at the wrong place and tracing logs...Cheers to the break that woke me up and cleared my mind...hehehe

Happening Weekend...

Last weekend, I am bored to death...but this weekend is juz the opposite...so happening for me...
Saturday, wake up early early to go pray to my 'Godma' Goddess of Mercy at Sengkang there...Reach Sengkang but did not 'scout' the place first...so end up turning in circles there until i also 'gong gong'...In the end, after asking a Comfort Driving Center instructor, then reach there and offered my deepest respect to her coz ever since the temple moved there, i have not been there. Yesterday is my first time going there and i am glad to have gone there. After that, go Tampines to my grandma's place...then back to Toa Payoh to go temple pray...reach home at 7pm but super tired...then went on to see Spurs losing to Chelsea..kaoz..ultimate sia... -_-"

Today mah, originally got 'date' for movies with some friends but got cancelled on Saturday, so i quite sian 1/2 and tot is gonna be a boring day, but it turns out to be the opposite.
In the afternoon,got activated for "Fire-fighting"...(Think some ppl know this term). Went back to office and then to client's place. When reached home, feeling super hungry coz i had only branch (breakfast + lunch) when i left home...
But overall, an 'eventful' day for me :P

P.S : NOT GRUMBLING...JUST DESCRIBING MY WEEKEND...

Tombyong back!

After taking 1 day leave yesterday, Tombyong is back @ work...He really popular siah...juz take 1 day leave, then whole lunch grp ask me where he is, so I just say he go celebrate 三八妇女节 lor coz i also dunnoe why he take leave...

He tell me that friday will move back and we can reunite but...always bring my hopes so high then never do it one...I fly u kite once...u fly me kite so many times...kaoz...

Hmmmm...wonder will anyone miss me if i take leave?

Btw, so sad Real Madrid din make thru last night...juz 1 goal also cannot score...juz 1! and Arsenal can go w/o trophy this season...think Real Madrid need to buy more good defenders...sell away the 容易受伤的男人. Midfield all quite LKK, then strikers cannot score goal...what has happened to the once glorious Real Madrid...Left Iker Casillas, he is the only one that Real no need to replace bah...hahaha

無聊的周末 == Boring Weekend

I find myself so strange...everytime on friday, I feel so happy that weekend is here BUT waking up on saturday, I will feel 一陣失落感...Life as if has become so monotonous to me...Tried to play games but dunnoe which one to play coz quite tired of all the games...

I think the events that I have gone thru' can be counted with my 5 fingers...

1. Sleep
2. Eat
3. Bathe
4. Play Football Manager
5. Watch Cable TV

Kaoz...Why have I become such a no-life person???

Conclusion : Really need someone to light up my life...

New Experience...

Today first day drive car to work...kaoz...the slope and curve is so tricky...nearly add scratch my car...then reach liaoz, no carpark lot...sian 1/2...have to drive up to fifth floor...3 curves...then late for work...

Pray hard hard my car dun get scratched...else heart pain wor...
