Star-Struck...

Just when I thought today is just another boring working day, I saw Stefanie Sun...孙燕姿 near my office. Around 4.30pm, Han Jie, Space and me went to the cafe downstairs to have some tea and eat something...Think ard 5 bah, I noticed a petite girl in a white blouse and a 3/4 black pants and a guy walked past us. As a Stefanie Sun's fan, I found that the girl looked a bit familar (coz of the mole on her right eye)...AIKS...Stefanie Sun!!! Kena star-struck until dunnoe what to do...Later, back at office then regretted...Dang...should have ask for an autograph or even a photo with her!!! Aiyoh...slow me...huhuhu

By the way, her real person look really nice...Singaporean girl without the Singaporean girl style. Look like just another girl on the street...but I am really star-struck by her...my idol...

Memorable Month

Just realised that October is a very special month for me. Full of meaningful things to me...

1. Birthday of one of my crushes...
2. October 2 years ago, I found my first full time job.
3. October last year, I asked someone out...just the 2 of us.
4. October this year, I stopped talking to that person.

Empty Seat

Starting tml, this seat will be emptied because the person who used to sit there has left my company on Friday to start her "new" life. Had a farewell lunch with her at a claypot restaurant near our office. Me and Tombyong had deer meat claypot. -->
Well, I must say it did not live up to what I expected it to taste like, so it is a thumbs down for me. Now, you all know why I din mention the name of the restaurant bah...hahahaha...
One interesting thing spotted during lunch is that someone actually used abt 5 min to pick out all the bean sprouts from his/her food...Practically "flipped" through the bowl of claypot to spot the bean sprouts...hahaha

After lunch, Judy (the person who left our company) had a farewell speech in our office. We gave her a handbag, handphone pouch and a hair clip as farewell gift for her.

I am thinking of having tea with her and Tombyong but the "gal gang" has already "dated" her and my request to join them was turned down. So, no choice lor...I turned to Tombyong and gang for tea. Actually, these few months I have grown closer to Tombyong's gang bah coz we usually eat together and feelings grown towards them...Accepted the fact that some things cannot be back to the same as old times liaoz, so might as well go and know new friends lor...what to do...I am a person who thrives on friendship, so 1 grp shut me out, I juz go find another grp lor...hahaha...else office life will be so boring...Ok back to tea, the "head gal" did gif me a call after they left to ask me to join them but oreadi too late lor...At that point of time, I was already sian1/2 and also tell Tombyong's gang to wait for me downstairs liaoz...so I just refuse her flatly lor even though it may probably be the last tea we are gonna have wif Judy as a colleague. Dunwan to fly Tombyong kite coz in future maybe "boycott". To me, Tombyong's gang is the future for me...and the other is the past. Of coz, I wish to look fwd to my future lar...

Happy Birthday

Some of you reading this blog entry will be puzzled with my title...Hasn't this guy's birthday just passed abt 1 mth ago? Hehe...yalar...my birthday just passed nia...

Today is different. It marks the birthday of a girl whom I met in my secondary school days. Still remember those days where I spent a lot of time writing my personal information into her book of contacts. Each page is dedicated to one of us in the class. She sat in front of me and I used to tease her a lot. She is one of those top calibre students in our class, always ranked within the top 5. Will not say that she is those caring type of person but she does have something that attracted my attention. She is those kind of girls who is independent and fun to be with. Recently seen a photo of her...very very different from what she looks like in sec schools days...Guess girls really change a lot as time goes by...haven got the chance to meet her but she is really 1 chio bu whom can turn guys head.

Smsed her to wish happy birthday today...Very seldom do I remember other people's birthday unless they are special to me and I do admit that I still remember her birthday 9 yrs later...Thank you for entering my memories 9 yrs ago. If ever u read my blog, let us try to keep in contact bah, not as crush but as friends. Cheers...Happy 24...

一阵凉风

Today like no other working day...finish work at around 7.30pm. Got a call from my mum to meet at 80 Robinson Road, a building near my workplace. While making my way down to the place, suddenly felt 一阵凉风 through my heart. Suddenly my heart felt so light...feels as though a stone being lifted but suddenly I remembered this kind of feeling...loneliness...all too familiar to me...walking down a street alone whereas others are in big grps or couples...

This week has been a terrible week bah...seems destined to lose some friends coz no matter how much effort I put in, we can never get back to where we used to be. Just felt that some actions they have done are so hurting to me and absolutely uneccessary. Do I "stink" that much that ppl are staying away from me? Sometimes I really wonder...May have say some mean things to u all bah...but close friends like Tombyong will know that I do not meant that when I said mean things...In fact, if I tease u with mean things, it is a way of displaying my closeness wif u...Need to face wall liaoz to rethink my actions...

Recommendation (日剧) : 太阳之歌 (Taiyou No Uta)

Recently, this Japanese drama caught my eye...It is about a girl with a strange disease who chases for her own dreams and love despite knowing that she will die in her early 20s. As the disease does not allow her to come out during her day, she can only pursue her dreams as a singer at night by performing in a park. She met a guy and their love blosoms...To know what happen, pls go and see it...Very meaningful storyline...I like...

New hair colour

Decided to dye my hair for the 3rd time in my life. The last 2 times, I dyed my hair with a tinge of red colour. This time, I decided to do it in the salon coz last 2 times when I D.I.Y, either the colour did not really stay or the colour stay on my scalp for a few days. So, on 1st Oct, I stepped into a salon near my hse and dye my hair. Chose a more yellowish-brown base but still come up to be a little red...guess I am destined to be red-headed...hahaha

This monday, went to office with my new hair colour...the first to ask whether I dyed my hair is the gal sitting in front of me, Kim. Others seemed a little bit slow to react...but the best part is the response from Jia Hui...She DID NOT even notice until Erna told her that I have dyed my hair...and she juz asked..."Oh, you dyed your hair arh???" Nothing to say about her "fastness" to detect it...I practically 3 lines...

Well, got a few ppl asked me why I dyed my hair...so I just tell them that I need a strong reminder not to be so naive anymore...Everytime I look into the mirror, I wanna remind myself that I am gonna start anew...no more holding on to something that is not gonna to have result. Also feel that I need a new perspective and goal in my life...so juz go dye...hahaha...colour not striking, so no need specially see...

Fiona's Wedding

Haha...broke my own blog record...2nd entry for today...

30th Sept, one day after my own birthday, is my pocket-bleeding day (u all should know why)...hahaha...coz it is our dear Auntie Fiona's wedding...Upgraded to Mrs Quek on that day...Her wedding dinner at Tung Lok Restaurant in Liang Court. Seated with Pei Ling (my "brudder"), Junyong (my good buddy), Cynthia, Erna, Hui Xian, June, Emily and Suli. Food is very nice and we (me and my buddy) ate a little too much coz the rest of the table ate very little...Drank some red wine too and driving home somemore...hahaha...dun tell my mum hor...By the way, took some snapshots of the ppl sitting on my table...Enjoy...

Happy 24th Birthday to me...

Before I begin on this entry, I will like to express my full gratitude and thanks to all people who commented on my last entry. Hmmmm...although I dun really know who is the last person to comment...All of you have stood by me and gave me all your utmost support. To know you all is a blessing for me. I promised you all that I will try my best not to go into those "dark" thoughts again.

29th Sept, a Friday is my birthday...This year, the celebration is smaller than last year's...still can vividly remember last year's when I entered into the office. At that time, when I reached the office in the morning, I got a shock of my life when I see my table being decorated by balloons and presents from all the colleagues...Very very happy...This yr's, I somehow expected it liaoz coz got the prev experience of Junyong and Erna's celebration. Erna's is in the afternoon and Junyong's is in the evening. The celebration is almost the same bah...sing song, cut cake, unwrap present...only time difference only...BUT still, I like to thank the organisers for celebrating the birthday for me...It is a Simple yet Happy Birthday...Like to thank Erna and Jia Hui for choosing the gift for me (will provide the pics of my present in the next entry). I like the gift very much. You all are very good at choosing gifts and thanks to all who celebrate and contribute to my birthday celebration.

Originally, planning to ask ppl out for dinner one but...so in the end, I had a quiet dinner with my family at a foodcourt near my house...Guess that this year's birthday emphasizes on SIMPLE bah...hahaha
