2nd KTV session...

Went to my 2nd KTV session last saturday...still 5 ppl (same as last time) but 1 person difference...one of the 'pro' last time cannot join us coz she went to Indonesia for a biz trip, so I sort of become one of the mic hogger that day...Sang 14 Jay's songs, 3 duets and dunnoe how many new songs...in the end...lost my voice again...sigh...how i hope the 'pro' is there to help me out...hahaha...this time i last longer than the 1st time (1st time sing 5 or 6 songs then lost voice ler...) 1st time i am audience...2nd time i am the singer...3rd time all of us will have a concert...hohoho...

Today, office is unusually quiet...Nana, Dory and Octopus not in office...Nana and Dory went on a biz trip to Indonesia on last saturday liaoz.They will be going for 2 weeks. Octopus is on MC today. She caught a cold during the weekend. Kinda miss Nana and Dory and hope Octopus get well soon.Still got code merging to do leh...oooops.... :x

Mistaken...

Recently had a chat with some of my friends...Don't know whether is my wrong usage of words or is it I have been joking too much with them...Seems like some of them took my words for real...What makes me even more upset is that one of them actually mistook that whatever I did has a particular motive. C'mon lah, all close friends to me should know that I do not do things with a lot of motive one lor...Whatever I do has no particular motive to get my goals...To be mistaken like this, I am very very upset because in the friend's eyes, i am juz a person who achieves goals unscrupulously...hurtful...This makes me think of something that my colleague says : Things are very simple, it is humans who make simple things complicated.

Another first time...

Haha...this year got a few first time experience for me...the first is going KTV...and yesterday, go to bar for a drink and relax...The bar (nt gonna name it coz no advertising fee...hahaha) is somewhere in orchard. First time going to such places...when we reached there, Alvis, Mark, Steven&Wife are already there. About 15 min later, Han Jie, Pei Ling, Xinhui and Aixuan arrived...Shortly after, Kenny&Wife arrived too...Can u believe it? Alvis is actually Kenny's wife primary sch schoolmate...hahaha...and in the afternoon during lunch, we were juz discussing actually each of us is linked within 6 degree. (from a documentary show) To start the ball rolling, we opened a bottle of red wine and everyone starting to 'cheers'. Had only 1 glass of red wine coz the place is quite stuffy and filled with cigarette smell...even shirt also smell of it...yucks...After 1 glass of wine, can fill my face becoming hot and they started saying my face is so red...but i dun think is the wine leh...i tink is the stuffiness of the place that causes my face to become red becoz it is damn hot n stuffy lor...Left the place at ard 10 with Aixuan...we bought coke frm mac to 'cool' us down but actually after leaving the place, the redness on my face already faded away...Funny is, everyone thought i am drunk...2nd time i look drunk...first time at Andrew's wedding...but I confirm I am nt drunk lor...given the time and no restrictions, i can drink 4-5 cups one...

Hopefully next time can go to a more airy place to drink...else really stuck with 1 cup leh...sianz...kekeke...anyway, thanks to the organiser, Alvis, for jio-ing us out...really enjoyed it...

3rd Wedding Dinner in 2006

Have been trying to find time to update my blog, but drag and drag until today then write. Last Saturday is my colleague, Andrew's wedding. It is held at the Grand Hyatt. That day, reached a little too early. Dinner is at 7pm but reached the hotel at 6.15pm...quite duh hor...but anyway, while i am waiting for my car keys from the valet after parking my car, Han Jie reached...Then we waited for Space. While waiting, Junyong called me to ask where Hyatt is, so i told him i will wait for him at the lobby. Then Liu Qiang and PK arrived and Space arrived shortly. Abt 10 mins later, i called Junyong and he told me he met the gals at the MRT station. So, we waited for them and in the end, the whole table arrived with the exception of 1 guy lar... :P

When we arrived the ballroom, we saw 1 very stunning couple, 男的帅,女的漂亮, 真是天生一对!!! Had half cup of red wine which i shared with Junyong, but somehow give the gals a feeling that i am drunk...hahaha...actually, nt drunk lah, juz very happy for the newly weds.

After dinner, just when i wanna drive off, my mum ask me whether i got drink wine anot. Not to let her worry, I juz told her i did not drink any. But after reaching my hse, told her i drank half-cup. Then kena scolding by her...hahaha...

Anyway, tml go back BPT liaoz...Getting my armour ready for 'Carpet Bombing'....

二十一

Celebrated a colleague's 21st birthday yesterday. Treat her to Sakae Sushi at Harbour Front and gave her present. It was a relatively small birthday celebration in relative to our normal 'Operations Birthday Celebration'. Maybe the birthday gal wanna have a low profile celebration bah.

Talking abt 21, it seemed like a long time when I celebrated my 21st birthday. Still remembered vividly that day...I rented a chalet at Costa Sands Pasir Ris. A lot of relatives and friends came but very paiseh thing is, not enough seats for everyone coz i think there is abt 50 ppl bah...That day, my good pal Junyong and his lao po, Peishan also came. On the whole, very enjoyable event that day because a lot of friends and relatives spare time out to come.

Anyway, hope the birthday gal enjoy her birthday and receive a lot of presents. Oh and enjoy ur leave on Monday....hehehe :P

My 1st KTV session == 失声

ngToday, I went for my 生命的第一次 KTV session. Went with 4 friends, 3 colleagues and 1 client's company staff. Had 5 hrs of fun singing songs, starting from 2pm to 7pm. Actually our package is from 2pm to 6pm but we din haf enuff fun, so we extended another hour. Hehehe...

Out of the 5 hrs, i tink i got sing 1 hr bah...Got 2 pretty good singers there, can see that they are regulars to KTV sessions...Sang quite a few Jay's songs, so have to exert a lot of strength to sing (now i know why they say it is so hard to sing his songs), then in the end, 我失声了...Now talking with a 走音 voice...so dun call me for these 2 days...hahaha...Hopefully my voice can come back on monday...

Other than Jay's songs, I also managed to sing duet songs with 2 of the gals present. Din really sang the songs well, but hey...i am a rookie singer in KTV...Hopefully I have more such chances to go out with them for such sessions and polish my singing skills bah...A very enjoyable experience on the whole...
