Grace's Birthday Dinner
Last friday (10/11/2006) , we celebrated Grace's birthday at a Japanese charcoal grill restaurant at Vivo City called Shin Kushiya. I made a reservation for 9 person for 7pm but in then end, I arrived late...Why? Coz of unexpected events happening in the CBD and the road to Vivo City around the time that I am setting off. Due to a dunnoe what bull race which is a marathon, the roads at Shenton Way and 1 lane of Robinson Road are sealed off. As a result, traffic at Robinson Road come to a standstill and because the sealing off of Shenton way, I have to find an alternative route and the route that comes to my mind is frm Alexandra. Route longer, so time longer...in the end, reach ard 7.30pm bah...
Food at the restaurant is not bad. Service is excellent...the waitress practically go through every item on the menu!!! By the way, my attention is caught either with her servicing attitude or the good looks of her...hahaha...Pricing wise is a little on the high-end side lor, so I strongly advised ppl going there to bring a calculator to calculate before ordering bah if u are quite concerned abt pricing sort of person. Nevertheless, we all had a great time there, spending the evening with Grace and Jeremy. Other than treating them, we also prepared a little gift for Grace which is a very nice necklace and a handmade card from Erna with all our well wishes in it.
