Today, while driving to work, listening to Yes 933FM's morning show, got to know that today is actually White Valentine's Day (白色情人節). So, out of curosity, I searched the web for a definition for this occassion and what it symbolises. Below is one that I feel that is worth sharing with all my readers.

Ok...attempting to translate the above...

Actually, in ancient Japan, 14th Feb (Valentine's Day) is an occassion for girls to show their affection to guys whom they are interested. Girl will normally buy gifts for the guy on 14th Feb but as society advances, whether girl buy gift for guy or vice versa is not that important anymore. In Japan, if either party receive present from another party on 14th Feb and has liking for the other party, he/she will return a gift back on 14th Mar. This symbolises that both of them are together. That is why 14th Mar is called White Valentine's Day. So if you receive a present on Valentine's Day, why not return a gift back to that special someone to express your love to them?

End of translation...

----- How I wish to get something back today...*dreaming* -----
