Happy 2008
Haha...I know this post come a little bit late coz now the 1st month of the year almost passed liaoz...Let me see...it has been a very long time since I blogged liao...think got about 2 mths le bah...So much has happened in the last 2 mths...
Basically, December 2007 was stressful, demoralised yet there are a few happy moments.
Stressful coz of work lor...Somehow, things cannot get right for me, keep changing my design. Guess that is coz no proper design is done on my part and too new to Spring and Hibernate. Boss has already fallen sick a couple of times in December, never seen him fall so sick before. This made feel a bit guility coz I wanna help my boss by coming into the company and not add on to his worries. Feel a bit helpess...But boss like his usual self, is very sensitive and keep on encouraging me. Where to find such a good boss? I guess this is also one of the strongest reason why I joined him from my previous company.
December is where Christmas is. Last year christmas, I had 2 private gathering. One at my "Sis" place where I catched up with a lot of my ex-company's colleagues. Going to her gatherings is always an enjoyable thing for me. The other gathering was at a close friend of mine, also an ex-colleague. We had a gift exchange at both gatherings but the 2nd one was more special for me. Dunnoe is fate or luck, I got "HER" present. How ironic...in the past, I always wished that she would give me an xmas present and it never came...but this time, when I did not harbour such thoughts, I got it...Although not her wish to give me, I will still very much treasure it.
Attended a farewell lunch for Erna, my good friend in Integro...at last she also left that forsaken place...hahaha...I was able to make it coz I was given offs to rest. After the lunch, went to the new Integro office at braddell. Hmmm...very big and comfy...looks very empty coz only Operations has moved over for the time being. But sad to say, Operations seemed to lack the passion and human touch that used to have. Everyone is only concerned about doing their own things. Seem like a very "cold" place now. Haiz...quite sad....
One very happy news on xmas day...my 2nd nephew xixi is born!!! Become uncle for 2nd time...
Last day of 2007, I met up with Yong to watch "I am Legend" and met Auntie Fiona outside the cinema. Still sound very TEH~ but seems like has become more matured...haha...Movie mah...not that great also...ending was a bit duh...but anyways, that was how my year ended.
